how i wonder how i dream

time prooves to be nothing but an entity,
when you change location and entire enviroments
every 2 weeks.
each new place has brought a whole new world
into existence for our mind, bodies and souls to experience,
to say the least, it is, stimulating,
which is oh so appreciated, at this time.
I have learned more than i can grasp right now, and
when i think backward or forward, i could all most
lose my footing!
I feel alive and grateful, every moment,
I am aware that i am outliving a dream I created
and i look forward to continuing to create
my very own,
wonderland
sharing with others,
and collecting our consciousnesses
to coalesc and watch magic,
true magic,
unravel before our eyes.
so here is to
manifesting
any thing you damn want,
and allowing the things which may stop you,
to be,
and learning to dance with them, all the while,
still moving in the direction of your dreams,
balance and Idealism, really can throw eachother on the ground
trust and intuition really can hold each other up,
choice and recognition usually will lead us,
down One path or Another,
all the while,
we remember what we choose to and the rest remains
in the story we forget,
Here is to picturing what i want so clearly in my minds eye,
soon it appears before my two Eyes,
What really is the point, in entertaining that which brings our bodies
and minds, no joy?
With a quick switch, hop, skip and mind shift, we
can have what we want, and want what we already have!
love and truth, reside with one another through
all dimensions, which we see and thought we Knew,
i promise, one day, soon,
our rhythms and rhymes, will be closer then just,
the distances of the screen and spaces inbetween,
we can build a quinta of our very own, with the help of our
fellow dreamers and creators a like,
plenty of musical instruments, and lots of clay,
soon this home will be filled
with our collective and constructed Energy-

time, depth, and perceptional unwinding

leaves us all ways, remaining in gratitude.

Our past few daze at escola do riso:

The past few days have been interesting, hilarious, ironic and beautiful. I sort of don't know where to begin and since I am typing on a Português computer, everything is underlined red and I keep hitting wrong letters like "ç" and such.
We arrived one week ago here at Quinta do Sol, home of escola do riso (school of laughter) and right at the very beginning of their laughter yoga retreat. There were about 10 extra people, other then the family of four and their one wwoofer, Dandera- who was an awesome Brazilian girl! and GiGI, a fourteen year old who was inspired by the Anastasia books and came to help out and spend some time here. It was quite the four days! We participated the first day in the meditation and laughter yoga and had a blast, or something of the sort. It was rather strange cracking up in strangers faces or while touching elbows...or necks...or bums. Never tried anything like that before. What really made me lose it was when we were all laying on the floor with our heads in a circle, laughing ass off, and I realized, "wow, I'm in Portugal right now, laughing like there's no tomorrah, with complete strangers, I must be doing something right!" We also got to eat really amazing food those days thanks to Paula who was hired to cook for the retreaters. She was an older Português woman who had a big quinta, whos entire family played in a reggae band, total sweetheart.
In midst of all of this excitement we would have a siesta at a river! We visited 4 different rivers and they were all really beautiful and the best one was luckily placed on my birthday, which was the last day of the retreat. It was a glorious waterfall! I couldn't have asked for anything better! We had about a 15 minute hike to walk up the mountain that was really intense and fun to wind around. I gathered up the courage to swim out and under the waterfall, with the support of Meem and felt really refreshed and cleansed. It was a really beautiful day for the long awaited 22.
The past couple days have been been a bit calmer, but not too much since we still always have about 10 people at the lunch table. We get up every morning at 6:30 and work from 7 to 11, before it gets too hot and we head to the river, then work for another hour or two when we get back in the evening. The first day we did lots of watering, some harvesting, some planting and a little weeding. It went by pretty fast and easy.
Today was a bit more challenging. We had to break apart a huge mound of wood, branches, broken furniture and who knows what, all tied together with massive brambles and tons of thorns. It got the best of me for some time due to the mosquitos and super frequent thorn stabbings. I even had to take a short intermission on the trampoline, jeeezzzz. Mimi was rockin' some hardcore to keep her head straight. Luckily it was only 4 hours of that, so it didn't drag out too long.
So that's a lot of the story here at quinta do sol so far. We eat mostly salad, laugh at the intricacies of people's personalities, wonder how a kingly 4 year old runs his own show and always manage to leave time to bask in the sun.
Pretty much where ever we are, we learn to make the best of it and that works really well for us. We're feeling really lucky to be here sharing these experiences and learning a ton in the process.
I wish I could record all the hilarity and even the frustrations but it all just comes and goes as it pleases and thats juss' fine :)
namaste and love to all the moments!

A whole new World

What a time it has been.
we are inlove with portugal, obviously.
the trains down here, were quite the whirl, expecially on the 12 hours train, Sud Express, a.k.a Green Monster. Cheese sandwhich and nuts for 12 hours and chairs that don~t recline.  Really had some nice laughs on that one.
Luckily, the Algarve is BEAUTIFUL, and the first farm we went one was AMAZING.  They were a young couple about early 30´s, with 2 kids, and 11 wwoofers.  They have lived there for 4 years and have built all their houses, and toilets (compost) and playground, with the materials surrounding them, I,E: euctalyptus trees and clay.  We got to build on to their clay house, which was really amazing, mixing the clay that you dug up from the pit in the backyard, adding straw and water, and mixing your hands to pieces, one block after another, its amazing to watch walls grow!  They were basically german anarachist, and had a a righteous way of working theyre asses off, and ours, to achieve a dream.
super inspiring.  Also learned how to herd goats, or say, take 33 goats on a walk through the mountains...what'a'feat!!

Now, we are now in the northern part of Portugal near, Coimbra, working on a laughter yoga, farm.  so far we have gone to the river for 4 hours everyday, and done mediation in the mornings, and we sleep in a geodesic dome...pretty flippin rad.  They have a child named, Malic, who is defintely an angel, and brilliant 4 year-old.

we will try our best to resurect this blog, but i Do believe that getting away from the world wide web, was part of the gig, in coming to Portugal, and living the life of a farmer.  hell yeah. =)

Close with a Wand, Begin with A...

The past few days have been slow, filled with anticipation but overral pretty lovely. Yesterday we had off and decided to take a walk to the Reenagross Park (which some of the photos below are from) and found ourselves in quite a magikal little world! Ireland is very clearly breath-takingly beautiful, of course, but it still, even after a month, never ceases to amaze with its secret faerie dwelling lands! First we walked a bit and found a picnic table overlooking the water through a wide hole in the trees and brush that displayed an army of trees with a hilly mountain on top. It was so perfect infact, we decided to have a seat to paint. It's been very  interesting for me, trying to paint realistically from perspective, since it isn't my natural talent to do so, but it's developing and becoming quite fun. Gotta work with what ya got, eh? After our paint sesh we hiked a little further and approached one the the most charming scenes to date! A Wonderous Rhododendron tunnel which was like nothing I've ever seen before. They were quite massive and went on above and all around us, intermingling and hugging aTop our little heads. There was an outstanding feeling of peace and calmness surrounding. Super lovely.
Since we became very hungry on our walk, we decided to stop at our favorite adorable tea shop from before, and get ourselves some organic tea and the quiche platters. Still one of the most pleasing dining experiences to date. Plus the waitress is very cute and made a funny noise that really surprised us and the woman  who owns it had a kind way about her and always seems genuine. We walked about town a bit and Mimi found a Hematite bracelet to replace her Black Tourmaline from a jewelry makers stand.
We walked back towards Peafield and Mimi really got a "wooley" for a pie or something of the sort so we got tarts and whipped cream-which turned out to be whippING cream- at the gas station. We ate it in the cemetery and it was still good, just kind of weird and messy.
We got back to Mike's and basically just read all day, which we have been doing most of the later part of today as well. But that night we got some Druid ciders and had lovely conversation at our arch in the cemetery. It was really beautiful there at night but eventually became tooo cold and we continued our conv0s at Mike's.
Today we didn't really have anything to eat for breakfast and we were starving as usual when we wake up. Luckily Mike was heading into town which was grand timing. As we were walking to a cafe, I noticed in after-Thought that my eyes saw a WAND MAKER VENDOR tucked inbetween two people's stands that were there yesterday. I stopped with a "what!? a wand maker?!" and we retracted a few steps. The wands were amazing and twirling and made a all types of beautiful wood. The wand maker was a sweet, old wizard looking  guy holding the tiniest, cutest pup of all time! We told him we'd be back to pick out our wands after breakfast. We were very excited and went in to have a very delicious, but chaotic  breakfast of pancakes that were like crepes and a classic bowl of porridge. Since the family next to had very little control of their sugar-high children, we gulped down our coffee and headed back to the wands.
We went right back to the same ones we initially picked up and then looked at eachothers briefly, agreeing they were great! At literally the same exact instant we picked up our wands, which happily surprised all three of us. We knew it was Right and paid the good man a fair wage of £20 for his magikal craft. I even got to hold the world's cutest pup who licked and snugged my face. We stopped by the bridge and held our new wands out to the water and over the tiny kitten's head who was playing by it, and blessed them with the bubbling flow. We left town feeling very thankful and blessed and perfect how Ireland Would give us wands on our last day.
So the rest of the day has been calm and slow. We made a mash of lunch and read a lot. Mimi is done the Space of Love and I almost done my read. Shortly we shall go into town and make some phone calls to the fam before we watch the final Euro Cup game between Spain and Italy. Should be an exciting close to our first month in Ireland!
After 3 busses and 1 flight, we shall have our first sight of London tomorrow night.
Also super amounts of love to our dear James who is heading to explore Mexico and South America tomorrow as well.
NAMASTE!
